Precision tools designed to support your health journey.
SEQUEL brings hospital-grade compression therapy home — engineered for accuracy, built for everyday use.
Intermittent Pneumatic Compression Device for Lymphedema Management
Engineering
Lymphatic Intelligence
The product of decades of research, SEQUEL is the answer to your lymphatic edema problems.
Architecture
4-Chamber Sequential Compression
Four individually controlled pneumatic chambers cover the full limb — distal to proximal — in a precisely timed peristaltic wave that mimics the natural lymphatic pump mechanism. No single-chamber device can replicate this physiological sequencing.
Comfort
Home Use Design
Unlike institutional IPC systems, SEQUEL is designed for unsupervised home use following a brief training session. Intuitive controls, automated session programmes, and an auto-shutoff safety system make long-term maintenance therapy accessible.
Clinical Protocol
How SEQUEL Works
A standard SEQUEL® session follows a four-phase protocol, automatically executed by the device once the programme is selected.
Patient Assessment & Programme Selection
Therapist or patient selects the appropriate programme — lymphedema stage, limb, fibrotic vs. early-stage.
Garment Fitting & Placement
SEQUEL garment sleeve applied to the affected limb. Four chambers align with anatomical regions.
Therapeutic Session (30–60 minutes)
Sequential compression cycles run continuously. AI monitors each cycle, adjusting pressure and timing based on real-time tissue response data.
Session Completion & Measurement
Auto-shutoff at session end. Post-session limb measurement recommended. Session data can be reviewed for compliance monitoring.
Recommended Use
| Session duration | 30 – 60 min |
| Frequency (intensive phase) | Daily |
| Frequency (maintenance phase) | 3 – 4x per week |
| Use setting | Clinic + Home |
| Supervision required | No (post-training) |
Used Alongside
SEQUEL® is most effective as part of a complete CDT programme — alongside Manual Lymphatic Drainage, compression bandaging, and skin care. At AMLA MEDIQUIP, our Klose-certified therapists integrate SEQUEL® into each patient’s personalised treatment plan.
MEDIC AID
Hospitals have to be focused around patient care. So shouldn’t your hospital IT usage be also focused around that? Medic Aid is a database application built for storing and retrieving patients’ and related hospital data — a fully GUI-based front-end application for Windows/NT, with support for UNIX and Mac, running on an RDBMS backend.
Billings, accounts, and inventory are integrated with better patient record keeping, automatic form and report creation, and elimination of repetitive typing and poor handwriting — resulting in more efficiency, less paperwork, and faster, cross-checked, insurance-ready records.
